Studio 410’s brilliantly inspiring take on how we can all make a difference by using our own “Joyful Little Noise” will leave you full of hope! Featuring beautiful original music by London composer, Stephen Ingram, the talented youth cast chronicles the importance of the “little” things; all the things that remain when all else falls away. The last couple of years have been hard, but we can take the dark and make it art…we can celebrate and lean into things that are always there for us; love, music, dance, kindness. “Joyful Little Noise” is fun for the whole family, and is sure to touch everyone in a personal and meaningful way.

Devan Ballagh

Devan Ballagh is co-owner of Studio 410 Productions Inc., a registered Not-For-Profit company that promotes engagement in the arts through education and performance experiences. The 2021 season featured an all-original show, “Not Cancelled”, produced as a documentary style movie musical (written by Devan, Paige and Stephen). Devan is a student and teacher of music and dance. Devan has performed with Drayton Entertainment, Victoria Playhouse Petrolia, her family band "The Ballaghs" and sibling trad/pop band, “The Crew”. This year, she released an original solo album titled "A Million Little Pieces". Devan is also the founder of 410Method, a deep health transformation program and resides in Hanover with her husband Tyler. You can stay up to date at www.studio410.ca and www.devanballagh.com. Paige Ballagh

Paige Ballagh is co-owner of Studio 410 Productions Inc., a Not-for-Profit company that promotes engagement in the arts through education and performance experiences. She and her sister have directed, choreographed and produced youth musicals since 2016, alongside other youth performing arts education programs. Paige is a songwriting graduate of Berklee College of Music online, and is both a performer and teacher of singing and songwriting. She has performed with Drayton Entertainment and the VPP as a fiddler and step dancer, and tours with her sibling band, The Crew. Her original album, Shoes Untied, can be found on any streaming platform. Stephen Ingram

Stephen is a Hamiton-born actor, singer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, music director, and music teacher. A graduate from Western University’s Don Wright Faculty of Music, he has worked professionally in theatres across Ontario, recent credits including: Home for the Holidays (Theatre Aquarius), Juno’s Reward (Grand Theatre), Ursa (Next Stage Festival), Babble (Expect Theatre), Summer of ’69 (Victoria Playhouse Petrolia), The Haunting of Hungerford House, Aleck Bell (Tweed and Co. Theatre), Glory Days (Upper Canada Playhouse). He also music directed Plaid Tidings (Sudbury Theatre Centre) and The Haunting of Hungerford House (Tweed and Co. Theatre). Stephen wrote music and lyrics for the movie/musical “Not Cancelled: The Musical,” a musical written about the silver linings of the pandemic, which was performed by youth from rural SW Ontario and made into a documentary that was screened at the Hanover Drive-in Theatre last year.

Stephen Degenstein

Stephen is thrilled to be on board with Here For Now Theatre as lighting and sound designer. Stephen has more than 600 production credits across Canada over the past 35 years; his theatre design credits include Stratford Festival, Drayton Entertainment, National Arts Centre, Native Earth Performing Arts and Neptune Theatre. Credits in Stratford include resident lighting designer for INNERchamber, set and lighting designer for Alternative Theatre Works where credits include lighting for The Wind in the Willows, set and lighting for The Bear, Yalta Game, Afterplay, Jewel, and A Tender Thing. In addition to creating multiple set designs for Off The Wall at Factory 163, Stephen has been the technical director for SpringWorks over the past 10 years and was the designer/technical director for The International Children’s Festival held in Stratford in 2016. Stephen has taught in various technical theatre programmes including The Performing Arts Prep Program at Sheridan College, Humber College and Fanshawe College. Stephen resides in Stratford with his wife, singer/songwriter Pamela Jane Gerrand. 

 

Charis Vander Klippe is a 13 year old from Wingham, ON. She’s been with Studio 410 a few times over the years. She makes her joyful little noise by dancing absolutely everywhere. She’d like to thank her Mom for helping her sort through some messy situations. Enjoy the show! 

Declan Pothier is 11 years old from Durham, ON. He’s been with Studio 410 for five years. He makes his joyful little noise by being part of Studio 410 programs. He would like to thank his family for encouraging him to do this, and for driving him to and from practices. Be prepared!!!!

Evangeline Graham is a 14 year old from Kincardine, ON. She’s been with Studio 410 for eight years. She shares her joyful little noise by singing and dancing around the house. This project was a lot of fun, and she hopes that it inspires you to make your own joyful little noise! 

Ashley Ready is a 12 year old from Mildmay, ON. She has been performing with Studio 410 for six years. She makes her joyful little noise by shining bright and being the best version of herself. She’d like to thank her Mom, Charlene, and Kaiden’s Mom, Kelly, for being there and driving her back and forth to all of the practices. Ashley appreciates you all coming to watch the show “Joyful Little Noise” and hopes you enjoy the show! 

 

Gabriella Graham is a 16 year old from Kincardine, ON. She has been performing with Studio 410 for eight years. She makes her joyful little noise by performing and crocheting gifts for family and friends. She would like to thank her Mom and Dad for not only introducing her to theatre, but for supporting her in her pursuit of performing, driving, paying and volunteering to make shows happen each year. She hopes this show brings you as much joy as it has brought her! 

Kaiden Durrer is a 13 year old from Mildmay, ON. He has been performing with Studio 410 for three years. He makes his joyful little noise by acting. He would like to thank his Mom for always being there for him. He hopes you enjoy the show! 

Maya Valdez is an 18 year old from Wingham, ON. She has been performing with Studio 410 for four years. She makes her joyful little noise by helping others, creating art and performing! She would like to thank her amazing family for all their endless support, along with the amazing directors, Paige, Devan and Stephen for this spectacular show! Thank you for coming out and supporting the arts! She hopes you enjoy the show! 

Nora Stephens is a 12 year old from Stratford, ON. This is her first time working with Studio 410. She makes her joyful little noise by writing original songs and performing them. She would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her through everything and for always being there. She thanks you for coming and hopes that you enjoy the show! 

 

Olivia Vander Klippe is a 12 year old from Wingham ON. She has engaged in various Studio 410 programs over the years, but this is her first production with the company. She makes her joyful little noise by doing acro. She would like to thank Devan and Paige for everything. She thanks you for coming and hopes you enjoy the show!

Morgan Bishop is a 15 year old from Wingham, ON. She has been performing with Studio 410 for around nine years. She makes her joyful little noise by writing stories and playing rugby. She wants to thank her family for chauffeuring her to practice and her friends for sorting through dozens of audition tapes and telling her to “just pick one”! 

Alexa Joy Vander Klippe is an 11 year old from Wingham ON. She has done various programs with Studio 410. She makes her joyful little noise by drawing. She would like to thank Paige, Devan and Stephen for “teaching the cast in the very hot theatre and being patient with us”. She hopes you enjoy the show!
