The first thing we do in life, is make sound. For writer, performer and classical musician, Zorana Sadiq (Wildfire, Towards Youth), sound is our first, last, and most influential sense.In her Dora-Nominated solo show, MixTape, originally directed by Crow's Theatre Artistic Director Chris Abraham, Sadiq invites her audience into a life experienced through sounds and an obsession with making them. From Neil Diamond to Kate Bush, from showtunes to Mozart, and from squeaky oven doors, to the thwapof a heartbeat, Sadiq curates the ultimate mix tape for life, part memoir, part scientific inquiry, part love affair with listening. MixTape asks us all to think about the songs and sounds that make us who we are, and why.
